Sometimes we unknowingly accept the notifications which could be a danger to our device data. With the world learning to make a mark online, in times of Corona, the hackers are fishing the newbie of the technological world.   2. Avoid using shortcuts to unknown links of funny videos, shocking news, free advice, fast income earning, website ads, clicks, and so on(especially during traveling). Hover over the short links to check its real source.
  3. Use an appropriate link scanner tools to know the safety of private links you are using.
  4. Use ad-block tools to get rid of unwanted ads broadcasting.
  5. Use reputed websites for online purchases.
  6. Don’t download unnecessary stuff. Never install unnecessary apps. It might be possible that the unknown apps may steal the data from your devices.
  7. Never give anyone access to your devices. Always see the alternate for system diagnosing. In this pandemic time, people are giving services to diagnose system issues using screen sharing or system sharing. Beware of the person or organization to whom you are giving access.
  8. Use VPN enabled browsers. It is to safeguard your IP address from hackers.
  9. It is easy for hackers to reach you, if you are choosing a public location for transactions. Thus, do online transactions from safe location of your office, house, or other trusted centers.  
  10.  For safe browsing, keep your browsers updated and enable the right date & time in your system settings.
  11. Timely clear your cookies. If you are getting any malicious threats, immediately clear browsing data and cookies. 

The measures are always dynamic. It is always important to be updated on the latest hacking methods. Discuss with others to increase your awareness of the technology. Use your intellect to handle the technology in a safe manner. Always confirm with trusted person before doing any private transactions or link access online. Changing technology is a sign that our outlook for its safe use should change too.
