Does compassion bring peace?

Compassion is a necessity, not a luxury.

During this time of world crisis, every great person advise is to show compassion towards others. Compassion should be reflected in ourselves, other humans, animals, and different beings. Compassion is the tool to decrease the consequences of ongoing suffering. It is a relief from the threats of the corona, war, and personal crisis. How compassion could eliminate suffering? The qualities of compassion are- patience, wisdom, kindness, perseverance, warmth, and altruism. A single word of compassion contains all the positive qualities of being perfect in nature. There are lots of benefits of compassion. It cannot harm others by any terms of mental, physical, and psychological disturbances. Compassion generates the positive vibes for the cause of well beings of others.

Compassion is co-suffering. If a person is suffering around, then you don’t derive pleasure. But, you go forward and help the person to come out of it. The quality of compassion also requires being proactive in nature for the cause of others. It is the way to express yourself in terms of achieving the wellness of others.

Compassion is empathy for others. When compassion intakes the troubles of others as your own, then it could definitely help to bring peace. Sadly, Compassion can’t prevent war from happening. But, it also doesn’t trigger people to get into a war. A compassionate mind always cares for others before taking any major decisions. Compassion could keep alive the rationality in human beings. Nowadays man is unintentionally forming irrational decisions that are bringing troubles. By choosing our values, we choose our terms of life. This naturally brings peace all around which motivates us to continue our practice of compassion.

Our prime purpose in this life is to help others. And if you can’t help them at least don’t hurt them.
