13 July 2020 at 2:30 pm [IST] All India philosophical practitioners association invites to the seminar of Leon de Haas. He will be presenting “Dialogical interventions in everyday experiences: An introduction to contemporary Socratic practice”. First part will consist of his presentation and participants’ questions; and the second part will consist of demonstration of his method with one of the participant and further discussion.
Leon de Haas will be the forth invited philosophical practitioner after After Ran Lahav, Lydia B Amir and José Barrientos Rastrojo. Our association invites philosophical practitioners from different countries to share their knowledge and experience with Indian audience and to demonstrate their method.
Leon de Haas studied philosophy and communication sciences at the University of Amsterdam. His specialization is: philosophy of experience, situation and encounter philosophical dialogues interactive philosophy courses and workshops. He has more than 30 years experience as a philosopher-researcher, philosopher-teacher, partner in dialogue, management-consultant. He writes about philosophy and philosophical practice, and gives lectures and workshops in the Netherlands and abroad. He is the editor of the dutch/flemish philosophical journal Filosofie.
